Museum and Gallery
Suitable for Ages 8 - 12 years
We are thrilled that the Museum is able to open its doors and welcome visitors back to see amazing new exhibitions, permanent collections and our Summer Season of Workshops! These family workshops offer you and your children the unique opportunity to get up close to artefacts, ask questions and create something amazing!
Discover a few of our amazing puppets in the Museum collection to inspire you. See how they move and how they are made, then you can have a go at making your own characterful puppet out of a variety of materials and perhaps make a puppet theatre too to take home. A fun workshop and perhaps the start of your own Puppet collection!
In this workshop we will be working with fabric and felt, lolly sticks, card and wire. All materials will be provided.
