About the Film
Iconic classic starring Lon Chaney. At the Opera of Paris, a mysterious phantom threatens a famous lyric singer, Carlotta, and forces her to give up her role for unknown Christine Daae. Christine meets this phantom in the catacombs, where he lives. What's his goal? What's his secret?

About the Music
Soprano Rosie Lavery, the ‘Ginger Soprano’, is currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) under the tutelage of Clare Shearer. Rosie has performed all over Europe, including performances of Donizetti’s ‘L’elisir d’amore’ in the Palazzo Corsini in Florence. She has also won multiple awards including the prestigious Governor’s Recital Prize at RCS, the Florence Veitch Ibler Prize for Oratorio Singing and was awarded 2nd place in the Hugh Robertson Scots Song Competition.

Rosie will be accompanied by organist Aaron Hawthorne is an international award-winning organist with extensive experience in concerts & recital performance, silent film accompaniment, church work, and choral directing. Bridging the divide between classical and theatre organs worlds, Aaron is heavily involved with the Scottish Cinema Organ Trust and is keen to promote the theatre organ to new audiences.

The Assembly Hall's Wurlitzer Theatre organ is one of Worthing's hidden treasures. WIth over 2000 pipes playing the theatre organ is a complex task, but in the hands of the top artists playing the Wurlitzer this year you will hear the full majesty of this wonderful instrument.

The splendid acoustics of the Assembly Hall complement the bright sounds from the pipes and tuned percussion instruments within the organ.
