Situated in the heart of Worthing, WTM has multiple, versatile venues available to hire. Our venues are fantastic flexible spaces which can accommodate a wide range of events.

Worthing Assembly Hall

A large multipurpose venue with optional break out rooms, a stage with four stepped levels and a fully sprung dance floor, the Assembly Hall is WTM's largest venue. This venue benefits from being in the centre of the Town with excellent transport links within easy reach. The Assembly Hall main auditorium is split in to the stalls area and a fixed balcony of seating.

Venue and stage access

This venue regularly hosts large scale concerts, awards nights, trade fairs and dance events. It is also the perfect venue for a wealth of corporate events and conferences given the multiple additional spaces available.

The main auditorium is wheelchair accessible, however the balcony and stage are not.

The main entrance to the Assembly Hall is at the front on Stoke Abbott Road. If rear stage access is required, this can be requested and may be facilitated through a slip road at the rear of the venue in Chapel Road (BN11 1HQ) between Worthing Town Hall and Worthing Museum & Art Gallery.

The stage is not wheelchair accessible, and there is no lift to the stage. All equipment is to be lifted onto the stage.

Parking restrictions are in place around the Assembly Hall, but there are parking options within easy walking distance. Please ask the Hires Team for more information.

Worthing Richmond Room

A simple but adaptable space, attached to the Assembly Hall, the Richmond Room is a practical space. The Richmond Room has a separate entrance to the Assembly Hall and can be made into a self-contained space, which makes it perfect for smaller private events.

This venue is ideally suited to smaller-scale events, such as business meetings, staff training days and presentations.

The main entrance to the Richmond Room is at the front on Stoke Abbott Road, a separate set of entrance doors to the Assembly Hall. If a larger entrance is required for the transportation of items, this can be arranged with the Hires Team.

Pavilion Theatre

A flexible theatre auditorium, and fully sprung dance floor, the Pavilion Theatre is great for many event types. This venue is situated on the promenade, with gorgeous views of the sea and within easy reach of the Town Centre. The Pavilion Theatre main auditorium has a small raised seating area which accommodates wheelchair users, and then a small drop to the main auditorium seating.

This venue regularly hosts concerts, school awards ceremonies and dance competitions.

The raised area of the auditorium is wheelchair accessible, however the main seating area and stage are not.

The main entrance to the Pavilion Theatre is at the front on Marine Parade. If a larger entrance is required for the transportation of items, this can be arranged with the Hires Team.

The stage is not wheelchair accessible, and there is no lift to the stage. All equipment is to be lifted onto the stage.

Worthing Connaught Theatre

A modernestyle Theatre, the Connaught Theatre is best suited to events such as company presentations and commercial filming. This venue benefits from being in the centre of the Town with excellent transport links within easy reach.

Theatre - 512 + 6 wheelchairs

Venue and stage access

This venue operates daily as a Theatre and Cinema, and therefore has limited availability. The best availability will be during term time, Tuesday to Fridays between 9am and 12pm. Please check with the Hires Team for our latest availability.

The stage and the rear of the auditorium is wheelchair accessible.

The main entrance to the Connaught Theatre is at the front on Union Place. The stage is fully accessible at street level, and can be arranged with the Hires and Technical Teams.

Parking restrictions are in place around the Connaught Theatre, but there are parking options within easy walking distance. Please ask the Hires Team for more information.

Worthing Connaught Studio

The building situated next to the Connaught Theatre, the Connaught Studio is a great smaller theatre and cinema space.

Venue and stage access

This venue operates daily as a Theatre and Cinema, and therefore has limited availability. The best availability will be during term time, Tuesday to Fridays between 9am and 12pm. Please check with the Hires Team for our latest availability.

The stall area of the auditorium is wheelchair accessible.

The main entrance to the Connaught Theatre is at the front on Union Place. The stage is fully accessible at street level, and can be arranged with the Hires and Technical Teams.

The stage and balcony seating area of the venue are not wheelchair accessible.

Parking restrictions are in place around the Connaught Theatre, but there are parking options within easy walking distance. Please ask the Hires Team for more information.

Either through Studio Foyer or Fire Exits at the side of the auditorium. Please note that the access is up two flights of external steel staircase. Through Studio foyer or Auditorium Fire Doors as there is no formal stage door. There is no parking on site for any touring company vehicles.

The stage is only accessible by stairs. There is one dressing room with a toilet and access straight onto the stage.
