Worthing Theatres & Museum are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual for this full time role in the Operations & Buildings Section. The role will assist the Theatres & Museum Buildings Operations Manager in the general day to day maintenance program, including supervisory responsibility of the Decorator & Maintenance assistant, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Security Systems, external contractors and subcontractors.

A NEBOSH or IOSH Certificate in Health and Safety is desirable including knowledge and experience of building repairs and maintenance programs. You will assist in maintaining software based maintenance/defect records including records of remedial actions taken whilst on duty, reporting any outstanding defects, H&S issues to the Theatres & Museum Buildings Operations Manager.

Excellent communication skills are essential as is a high level of organisation and the ability to work under pressure. This is a hand's on role requiring a good standard of fitness in line with all expected duties including working at height. The ability to work well with colleagues and as a larger team is essential.

The 37 hours will be split across 5 days, as well as some weekend and evening work
when required.
