In 2016 Worthing Theatres announced that they wanted Chestnut Tree House to be their official charity partner for The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan.

Worthing Theatres staff had recently raised £350 for the charity in a Beat The Tide 10km run in Peter Pan costumes on Worthing seafront, as well as donating tickets of the same value to the families involved. Mr. Gnashers, the crocodile mascot in the pantomime also visited Chestnut Tree House, where he joined in with some fun activities with the children and their families.

At the first and last performances, volunteers from Chestnut Tree House raised over £345.64 from retiring collections. Plus there was also an additional amount raised at a retiring collection at the Ultimate Buble performance held at the Assembly Hall which raised £289.09.

In total staff and our audience members raised a show-stopping £1,334.73.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped raise money for such a brilliant cause, we hope to work with this wonderful charity again soon. Find out more about the brilliant work they do right here:
