Entry 45

Lockdown Introspection: Mirror Image Triptych by David King

A triptych consisting of three, oil on canvas, self-portrait studies, on the left and right depicting the artist working on the self-portrait in the middle. All work was done from life, working with a mirror, for the most part in natural light. The lack of the opportunity to work with live models during lockdown, caused the artist to look inwards for inspiration.
