Entry 8

Marking Time by Felicity Wingfield

Marking time is made from repurposed fabrics thin from age and use accepting their imperfections, they are beautiful to handle and work with. This piece represents the passing of many hours in stitch. The passing, acceptance and acknowledgement of the passing of time. The bone is symbolic of my being grounded in the practical while the many marks are a reflection of my being at one with myself - still and engaged in the act of mindful and repetitive stitch.
