WTM - A New Chapter

We are thrilled to be part of a wonderful new chapter for Worthing Theatres and Museum (WTM)  now as an independent charity. We cannot thank you, our community, patrons and supporters enough for your intrinsic role in making this possible - your support has made it so! We have an inspiring staff, a brilliant programme, a superb commercial offer, and diverse audiences that reflect our community.

Our new vision is to ensure we can enrich people’s lives through arts and heritage and this is only made possible through the drive and determination of our incredible team and the support of you all. WTM marks the true union between the museum and the theatres bringing our vast array of workshops, collections and exhibitions together with the live events and cinema programme.

Worthing Theatres & Museum is dedicated to the following primary objectives:

  • Promoting Dramatic Arts, Theatre and other cultural activities at the Pavilion & Connaught theatres, The Assembly Hall in Worthing.
  • At every opportunity, using these cultural activities to advance Education and promote Social Inclusion.
  • The preservation of important historical collections of decorative arts and clothing in Worthing Museum.

CEO Amanda O’Reilly, said: “As an independent charity, we are now able to increase external funding, develop our programme and expand our creative work with the communities of Worthing. These are exciting times for Worthing Theatres and Museum as we redefine what a regional multi arts and heritage organisation can be.

We have huge opportunities ahead of us to enrich our programme, improve our facilities, and expand our work with young people and communities across Worthing. Larger audiences than ever come to enjoy theatre, music, dance, the visual arts, cinema, and more all within our iconic venues, our aim is to ensure everyone in our community has an opportunity to experience this.

It will be an exciting, energetic, challenging time, with huge rewards for all: we hope you will all join us on the journey!
