Take Part

Worthing Theatres & Museum offers a range of ways to learn about and engage with our collections. There is a vibrant and exciting programme of events and workshops for primary, secondary, college students and teachers and individual adult and family workshops.

We also have great opportunities in which to study and get closer to our collections.

For Adults

We have a growing programme of workshops and events for adults and groups to enjoy. Take a look at the What's On pages for an up to date list of all tasks, or continue reading for more information.

We would welcome you to join us for one of our Thursday evening museum talks, or explore our lunchtime talks and find out more about the exhibitions WTM team, local experts, or the artists themselves. You'll be able to meet artists, curators and guest speakers, and discuss their specialist field.

Keep an eye out for special events too, such as film screening, museum lates, theatrical talks and tours.

Colleges and Universities

The engagement team will work with colleges and universities to deliver workshops and archive visits to enhance the learning experience through our museum. The archive is available for research and is a valuable resource and source of primary research.

Plan ahead, at certain times of the year we have a high demand for research appointments and we often have a 6 to 8 week waiting time.

Course leaders/tutors, when planning a learning programme contact the museum to discuss workshops and archive visits.
