Peter Cadwallader

Chair

A qualified solicitor and entrepreneur. Peter previously worked in the City for Price Waterhouse Coopers, DMH Stallard and Maitland Advisory.

Scott Marshall

Vice Chair

Chair of Capital Projects Committee

A professional with over 28 years direct experience in delivering central and local governments’ economic growth and cultural agendas.

Cepta Kelly

Board Member

Chair of Nominations Committee

Cepta has had a career advising across a wide range of legal issues, and currently is the Legal Director of a medical device manufacturing group.

Louise Burgess

Board Member

Louise is originally from Peterborough but moved to Worthing 29 years ago. She has worked in HR for 18 years and joined European Recruitment Limited from October 2021

Andrew Comben

Board Member

Andrew joined Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival as Chief Executive in 2008, and developed a new vision for the organisation as a year-round centre of artistic activity.

Simon Parsonage

As a qualified Chartered Accountant Simon has worked in a number of industries including for the past 12 years working as FD for The Chichester Festival Theatre. In addition he is actively involved, through a number of organisations, in supporting theatres and theatre work.

Helen Persson-Swain

Board Member

Chair of Fundraising Committee

Helen is a senior museum professional with over 20 year’s experience, mainly with the V&A. She has lectured and published widely mainly on fashion, and has led on many major projects including strategic planning, capital projects and has curated exhibitions internationally. Currently, Helen is the Curator at the Mercers’ Company, London, and a SGSAH AHRC funded PhD student in History of Art at the University of Glasgow.

Andy Sparsis

Trading Subsidiary Chair

Andy Sparsis is the founder of Proto Restaurant Group and has been a proud member of the Worthing business community for over 15 years. Proto has founded The Fish Factory, The Fat Greek Taverna, The Fish Factory Boutique and Costa’s Gold Organic Olive Oil. He is also a Director of the town center steering group (TCI).

Yemisi Mokuolu

Board Member

Yemisi is an award-winning independent producer and business consultant, with over 17 years experience. Her clients include; British Council, European Commission (EUNIC) and King’s College London. As an independent producer, she is the co-founder of the ‘Asa Baako – One Dance’ festival in Ghana and “Five Cowries” arts education initiative in Nigeria.

Lydia Cassidy

Board Member

Lydia has worked in arts marketing and communications for over 30 years. As a consultant, she has worked with a diverse range of companies, including the Almeida Theatre, National Theatre, RSC and Young Vic, along with many regional theatres. For the past 10 years, she has been Director of Marketing at Chichester Festival Theatre.

Polly Child

Director of the Trading Subsidiary

Polly is a Hospitality veteran, and the vision behind Port Kitchen at Shoreham Port, nationally recognised for its pioneering approach to diversity & inclusion, and authentic sustainability. She is expert in specialist venue design, from concept to realisation. Polly campaigns for neurodiverse inclusion and professional mentor for young people in the sector.
